Fig, Hot Honey, and Goat Cheese Crostini

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Mike's Hot Honey
  • 1/3 cup port
  • 8 fresh figs, sliced
  • Baguette, sliced and toasted (about 16 pieces)
  • 1 cup Montchevre® Goat Cheese
  • Toasted pecans or walnuts, optional garnish
  • Mint, for garnish

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat port and Mike's Hot Honey over low to medium flame. Bring to a simmer and continue cooking until the consistency becomes thick; 3-5 minutes. Set aside and let cool.
  2. Spread 1 tablespoon of Montchevre® goat cheese on each piece of crostini, top with fig, mint, and toasted pecans. Drizzle with Mike's Hot Honey, port syrup, and more Mike's Hot Honey if desired.
